Bible Study Dynamics
Learning is the foundation and backbone of a successful Christian life. Unfortunately, those able to handle God’s word skillfully are few in number. Considering the following, this can be considered a travesty:
- In Matthew 11:28, Jesus invited those who would follow Him saying “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”
- In 2 Timothy 2:15-16, Paul exhorted Timothy saying “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.”
- In Proverbs 15:28, Solomon says “The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.
In a day when many are nothing more than churchgoers, God is seeking for disciples. Furthermore, God sends forth teachers for the purpose of enhancing the learning process and stability in Jesus Christ.
